Five things about me

I'm a mom, duh.

My number 1 job and the most important job I'll ever do in this life - is mother (and wife). I have wanted to be a mom since I was a little girl. I am in love with motherhood (even the hard parts) and I hope to have tons of more babies running around!!

"When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice."

-Robert Frank

My goal is to document your motherhood and your family just as you are. Mark this season in time so when you look back you can feel it. My work is unposed and candid, I encourage you to interact, play, and hold however you normally would--and just let me capture it. Of course I offer guidance as needed but really love to just let you and your family be in the moment. Documentary style, nostalgic, freezing time. I want it to feel easy & real!

about birth circles -

WISCONSIN BIRTH CIRCLES

We gather together monthly to share birth stories and to chat about different themes of motherhood/being a woman. We are always welcoming new women and can't wait to hear your story.

THE GOAL OF OUR BIRTH CIRCLES IS TO SHARE THE WISDOM AND POWER THAT LIES WITHIN OUR STORIES, TO HONOR THIS RITE OF PASSAGE AGAIN, AND TO CREATE COMMUNITY & CONNECTION.

about doula work-

Doula

[DOO-LAH] NOUN

a person trained to provide advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth. Greek origin: female servant. "One who mothers the mothers."

virtual doula/doula bestie

Soon after my first baby was born, or probably even while I was still pregnant, I knew I wanted to find my way into birthwork and supporting women. While I was pregnant with my second I dove into doula training and birth photography/videography. Then my second was born, and on call doula work had to take a back seat, and it's been there ever since. Instead I've been hosting women's birth circles and just chatting with women and friends on instagram and in real life. I would love to be able to share my knowledge, experience, and resources as well as be a constant shoulder to lean on for women who want a doula friend to reach out to anytime throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Have questions about how this all works? Fill out my form or send me a message through email or instagram and we can chat more :)
